As one of four recipients, the team of Hai Zhang with two collaborators - Marcel Baumler in Shanghai and Guochuan Feng in Shenzhen, awarded Rafael Vinoly Architects 2009 Research Grant. With the grant, the team will conduct an interdisciplinary research in China focusing on the housing issues, more particularly in Shenzhen and Shanghai.
